The Holy Dew Spirit caught on movie camera
This unique motion picture captures the Holy Dew Spirit caught on camera. Initially, a 16mm movie film camera recorded the footage at its lowest speed. Subsequently, each frame was individually recorded onto a VHS tape, lasting one second, making it easier to view. This collection specifically highlights only those frames that include the Holy Dew Spirit.
Indeed, the scene featuring the flying Holy Dew Spirit appears at the very beginning of the filming. On SeongThanJeol morning, I prepared the camera by setting up a tripod and feeding a film cartridge into the 16mm movie camera. Before beginning the main shoot, I took a test shot for a few seconds while people from the Busan altar rehearsed for their festive day celebration.
The Holy Dew Spirit Caught on Camera: Footage Analysis
Specifically, the light blue, blurry object appearing just after the test card is identified as the Holy Dew Spirit. Initially, it hovered around the camera, covering a wide area. Subsequently, it began to move, eventually disappearing at the top left corner of the frame. Furthermore, these movements were captured across several continuous frames on the film roll. The remainder of the footage presents a collection of frames that captured the Holy Dew Spirit during the main service. This also includes frames from part two of two events held on the same day. Consequently, without the use of a flash light, the photographs appear somewhat blurry.
