감로수

It is a term found in Buddhist scriptures, meaning 'sweet dew' or 'sweet water'.

It is a miraculous water said to be brought by a Buddha like the Living Maitreya Buddha (生彌勒佛), and it is believed that drinking it makes afflictions disappear, leads to enlightenment, and ultimately to Buddhahood (成佛).

In English-speaking regions, it is mainly known as Amrita, and with similar meanings, it is often likened to concepts such as nectar of immortality (불멸의 넥타르), elixir of life (생명의 묘약), or ambrosia (신들의 음식) in Western mythology.

The sweet dew, or sweet water, claimed by 승리제단 as a sign of the Maitreya Buddha, is a light emanating from the Maitreya Buddha's body, which is mostly invisible to the naked eye but appears in photographs.
