Officer Training
As you all know, this person said he served as an officer for 11 years, didn't he?
As for officer life, you all, those who have experienced military officer life will all agree, what kind of training they give is this: 이제 그대로, they educate that an officer is an international gentleman.
Because they are international gentlemen, they speak every word correctly, their gait involves pulling their chin forward, having eyes that look slightly upwards, and when they walk, they are told to walk with their feet straight.
That is the training process during officer training.
So when this person received officer training, they would make them wake up at 4 AM.
After waking them up, they were told not to wear clothes but to come out naked.
What time was that? It was the middle of winter when temperatures dropped to minus 20 degrees Celsius.
But they were told to come out naked onto the sports field without even wearing shoes. Barefoot.
So if they trembled, if they trembled violently, they would come and kick their shins with their boots.
They didn't kick the shins slowly. They put all their strength into their legs and kicked with their feet.
Then blood would stream down their shins.
If they sat down because blood was flowing, or sat down because it hurt, at that time, they would die; they would be beaten to death.
Therefore, in order not to let that happen, if their shins were kicked, they had to endure the pain and not show any sign of being hurt.
That is the mental training for officers.
And then, when temperatures dropped to minus 20 degrees Celsius, they would make them cross a stream; the ice was frozen this thick.
They would smash that ice with a sledgehammer and break it, then the company commander who trained the officers would be the first to strip naked and cross the water, which came up to his neck, in the broken ice.
While crossing, he would tell the officer cadets undergoing training to follow him.
Then they couldn't not follow, could they?
So they would follow him in.
So when they followed him in, the water would come up to their necks, and if they made even a small mistake, they would swallow water.
If they went into such water and came out, in less than ten minutes, icicles would hang from their chins, icicles would hang from their testicles, they would just hang in clusters.
Icicles would hang in clusters.
And then, barefoot, nowadays it's asphalt roads, but at that time, all roads were gravel roads.
So, on roads paved with stones, with gravel stones, they were told to run barefoot.
They were told to run barefoot, and when they ran barefoot, the gravel stones would hit their toes, so blood would stream down their toes.
If they sat down because it hurt, at that time, they would be beaten almost to death.
Therefore, even if they wanted to sit down, they couldn't.
While bleeding, they had to keep running.
Running like that, from Sangmudae, which is over ten li away, they had to run to Songjeong-ri and then run back to Sangmudae.
So every toe would hit the gravel and all of them would bleed profusely.
If they bandaged themselves or did such things because they were bleeding, it would be a big problem.
Even if blood streamed down, they had to keep running.
After running there and back, they had to enter Sangmudae, but the main gate of Sangmudae was all locked, and then they had to climb over the barbed wire fence, with military police all deployed to send back the officer cadets who were trying to enter.
Since they were military police carrying weapons, they had no choice but to beat the military police carrying weapons and knock them out (KO), with bare fists.
But this person at that time was the first to lead the way and cross over, and beat two military policemen like dogs.
So he knocked them down. And he went in.
But most other people did try to do as this person did, but most were beaten with rifle butts, so there were many cadets whose heads were streaming with blood.
So, unable to cross over, they climbed over the barbed wire again, and as they climbed over the barbed wire with their naked bodies, they were scratched by the thorns, the thorns on the wire, so would they bleed or not?
Blood streamed down their bodies.
In such circumstances, among the cadets who had crossed over but couldn't get in, if there were about 300, 150 of them couldn't get in.
All those who couldn't get in were let back in by opening the main gate, and all were made to do "push-ups". This person is someone who received such training.
So it was training to beat and kill armed enemies with bare fists.
Therefore, no matter how strong one is, to beat soldiers carrying weapons and knock them out (KO), is this an easy task, or a difficult task?
Of course, women cannot do it, and now even men cannot do it.
As this person is someone who received such training, this person received that harsh 연단 in the 밀실 and became the 이긴자.
