해와이긴자 and the Secret Chamber

1I was born in 1939.나는 1939년에 태어났다.

2I have one older brother and three younger siblings.내 위로 오빠가 하나 있고 동생이 셋이 있다.

3As a daughter, I am the eldest.딸로서는 큰딸이다.

4Our home was in Sorae, Incheon, and like most people back then, we lived by farming.우리집은 인천 소래였는데 옛날 사람들이 다 그렇듯이 농사를 지어서 먹고 살았다.

5My parents and I attended church in Incheon, but when my mother gave birth to her youngest, the baby didn't come out easily, so she had a Caesarean section, and the suturing operation at that time went wrong, causing her to suffer from its after-effects.부모님과 나는 인천에서 교회를 다녔는데, 어머니는 막내를 출산할 때 아이가 잘 안 나와서 제왕절개수술을 하였고, 그때 봉합 수술이 잘못되어서 그 휴유증으로 계속 몸이 아프셨다.

6Seeing my mother's suffering and feeling sorrow for her health, I remember praying to 하나님 for her health.어머니의 아픈 모습을 보고 어머니의 건강이 안타까워 하나님께 건강을 달라고 기도를 했던 기억이 남아 있다.

7My mother diligently attended church despite her ailing body, but her health did not improve.어머니는 아픈 몸으로 교회에 열심히 다니셨지만 몸이 좋아지지는 않았다.

8Our life was impoverished, so an operation was not an option.궁핍한 삶이라 수술을 할 수도 없었다.

9Meanwhile, from 1955, the work of grace of Elder 박태선, the messenger of fire, began, and the rumours of Elder 박태선's amazing work of grace reached my mother's ears, leading her to follow Elder 박's meetings to be healed of her illness.한편 1955년부터 불의 사자 박태선 장로님의 은혜의 역사가 시작되었고, 박 장로님의 놀라운 은혜의 역사의 소문이 어머니의 귀에도 들리게 되어 어머니는 병을 나으려고 박 장로의 집회에 쫓아다니게 되었다.

10If Elder 박 held a meeting at the Han River in Seoul, she would rush to the Han River's sandy beach; if he held a meeting at Namsan, she would rush to Namsan; if he held a meeting at Nogusan, she would rush to Nogusan.박 장로님이 서울 한강에서 집회를 하면 한강 백사장으로 달려갔고, 남산에서 집회를 하면 남산으로 달려갔고, 노구산에서 집회를 하면 노구산으로 달려갔다.

11Although she followed Elder 박태선 like that, my mother's illness was not completely cured.그렇게 박태선 장로를 따라다녔지만 어머니의 병이 완쾌되지는 않았다.

12I was 17 years old when I first met Elder 박.내가 박 장로님을 만나게 된 때는 내 나이 17살이었다.

13I went to Elder 박태선's meeting following my mother, and at that meeting, I experienced various graces, including smelling the fragrance of 하나님.나는 어머니를 따라서 박태선 장로님의 집회에 가게 되었는데 그 집회에서 하나님의 향취도 맡는 등 여러 가지 은혜 체험을 하였다.

14At that time, Elder 박 performed 안찰 on the heads of those who came to the meeting, and people vied with each other to receive 안찰 first.당시 박 장로님은 집회에 온 사람들에게 머리에 안찰을 해주셨는데 서로 먼저 안찰을 받으려고 다투었다.

15I also received head 안찰, and when I received 안찰, grace came.나도 머리 안찰을 받았는데, 안찰을 받으면 은혜가 왔다.

16One day, after Elder 박 performed head 안찰, he went a little distance away, then came back and performed 안찰 on me one more time; I was incredibly grateful.하루는 박 장로님이 머리 안찰을 해주신 후 저만치 가시더니 또 다시 오셔서 한 번 더 안찰을 해주신 적이 있다, 너무너무 감사했다.

17At Elder 박's meetings, once you sat down, you didn't know when you would get up from that spot.박 장로님의 집회에는 한번 앉으면 그 자리에서 일어날 줄 몰랐다.

18So many people gathered that if you stood up to go to the toilet, you would lose your seat.너무 사람이 많이 모이는 고로 화장실에 가려고 일어서면 그 자리를 뺏기게 되었다.

19Some of the people who followed Elder 박 built a 전도관 where they used to run a kimchi factory.박 장로님을 따르는 사람들 중 몇몇이 짠지공장을 하던 곳에 전도관을 세웠다.

20My mother and I occasionally went there to worship, and later, an 인천제단 was established there, and Elder 박태선 would come every Saturday morning to hold services.어머니와 나는 그곳으로 가끔 예배를 보러 다녔고, 나중에는 그곳에 인천제단이 세워졌고, 박태선 장로님은 토요일마다 새벽에 오셔서 예배를 보셨다.

21At that time, there was an elder at the 인천제단 who had received the Spirit of Fire from Elder 박태선, and when he said that 하나님 commanded them to enter the 신앙촌, our family also entered the Sosa 신앙촌.당시 박태선 장로로부터 불성신을 받은 어르신이 인천제단에 한 분 계셨는데 그분이 하나님께서 신앙촌으로 들어가라고 하신다고 하여 우리 가족도 소사 신앙촌에 들어가게 되었다.

22Our family sold our farmland and rice paddies and entered the Sosa 신앙촌, and at that time, it was when the 신앙촌 was being built, so I also became a construction team member and worked on the 신앙촌's construction.우리 가족은 전답을 팔아 소사신앙촌으로 들어갔고, 그때는 신앙촌을 건설할 때라 나도 건설대원이 되어서 신앙촌 건설 노동을 하였다.

23I was rather frail, so when I went to the construction team, many people rebuked me, saying that someone as weak as me couldn't endure it there. So I told them to say such things after seeing me try, and I picked up a shovel and dug the ground, carried a frame on my back, and transported soil.나는 몸이 허약한 편이라 건설대에 갔더니 여러 사람들이 너같이 약한 사람은 여기서 못 견딘다면서 핀잔을 주기에 어디 한 번 해보고 그런 말을 하라고 하여 삽을 들고 땅을 파고, 질통을 지고 흙을 퍼 날랐다.

24With the power of 하나님's Holy Spirit, even I, a weakling, was able to overcome the arduous labour and accomplish it.하나님의 성신의 힘으로 약골인 나도 힘든 노동을 이겨내며 할 수 있었던 것이다.

25The 신앙촌 houses were built purely by human labour.신앙촌은 순전히 사람의 노동으로 지어진 집들이다.

26Everything was built using human hands and feet.모두 사람 손과 발을 이용하여 지은 것이다.

27Countless believers gathered to participate in the amazing work of 하나님, and they used their hands and feet to dig two fathoms deep, lay foundation stones and ondol slabs, and build houses.수많은 신앙인들이 놀라운 하나님의 역사에 동참하기 위하여 모여들었고, 그들은 손과 발을 이용하여 사람 키로 두 길이나 파서 주춧돌과 구들장을 놓고 집을 지었다.

28They carried the excavated soil and stones on their heads.퍼낸 흙과 돌을 머리에 이고 날랐다.

29The sight of the 신앙촌 brethren carrying stones on their heads, like an ant colony, was truly a magnificent spectacle.신앙촌 형제들이 머리에 돌을 이고 가는 개미떼 간은 모습은 정말 장관이 아닐 수 없다.

30There were many university students in the 신앙촌 construction team.신앙촌 건설대에는 대학생들이 많았다.

31Every morning, 영모님 gathered the construction team members and gave them empowering words and the laying on of hands.영모님은 매일 아침 건설대원들을 모아놓고 힘을 주시는 말씀과 안수를 해주셨다.

32With the power of faith, they overcame all difficulties and diligently worked on the 신앙촌's construction.그들은 신앙의 힘으로 힘든 걸 모두 이기고 신앙촌 건설을 열심히 하였다.

33There were some who worked without pay in the construction team, but in the case of our family, who had settled our assets and moved in, we received a small amount of money to buy food and live.건설대에는 무보수로 일하는 사람도 있었지만 가산을 정리하고 들어온 우리집 같은 경우에는 약간의 돈을 받아서 밥을 해먹고 살 수 있었다.

34Our family was able to move into the CD building among the houses built in that way.우리 가족은 그렇게 지은 집 중 씨디(CD)동에 입주할 수 있었다.

35Of course, it wasn't free; we purchased it by selling our farmland and rice paddies.물론 공짜가 아니라 전답을 팔아서 구입한 것이다.

36Then, when 영모님 was arrested by the Syngman Rhee regime, many of the construction team members, including students, scattered and returned home.그러다가 영모님께서 이승만 정권에 의하여 구속되자 건설대원들 중 학생들을 비롯한 많은 사람들이 다 뿔뿔이 흩어져서 집으로 돌아가 버렸다.

37When 영모님 was arrested, many of the 신앙촌 residents were shaken, and to make a living, I used a sewing machine to do embroidery.영모님이 구속되자 신앙촌 식구들도 많이 흔들리게 되었고, 나는 먹고 살기위해서 미싱을 가지고 자수(刺繡)를 놓았다.

38At that time, 신앙촌 embroidery was very popular.당시 신앙촌 수(繡)는 인기가 좋았다.

39My mother was a zealous believer who fervently followed Elder 박태선, and she had many spiritual dreams. As she spoke about the contents of her dreams to people, she began to be treated as a 마귀.나의 어머니는 열심쟁이 신앙인으로 박태선 장로님을 열렬히 따랐는데 신령한 꿈도 많이 꾸게 되었고, 꿈 내용을 사람들에게 말하다보니 마귀로 취급을 받게 되었다.

40My mother believed in Elder 박태선 with utmost devotion.어머니는 박태선 장로님을 지극정성으로 믿었다.

41To attend worship at the Oman 제단, she would wake up at dawn, be the first to arrive, sit in the front row, and diligently sing hymns and clap her hands.예배를 보러 오만제단에도 새벽같이 일어나서 제일 먼저 가서 앞자리에 앉아서 열심히 찬송하며 손뼉을 쳤다.

42When the service ended, she would hastily run to the car Elder 박 was in to greet him.예배가 끝나면 박 장로님에게 인사하러 부리나케 박 장로님 타신 자동차로 달려가서 인사를 드렸다.

43Perhaps because my mother diligently lived her faith, she seemed to have many spiritual dreams.​어머니는 열심히 신앙생활을 하셔서 그런지 신령한 꿈을 많이 꾸었던 모양이다.

44She would often tell people around her about dreams where 영모님 appeared and said something, and because of this, she was branded a 마귀 by the 신앙촌 residents.영모님이 꿈에 나타나셔서 뭐라고 하셨다는 내용의 꿈을 주변 사람들에게 말하곤 하였는데 그러다 보니 신앙촌 식구들에게 마귀라고 찍히게 되었다.

45In the 신앙촌, where people believed in Elder 박태선, if someone spoke wrongly about their dreams, they were often ostracised as a 마귀.박태선장로를 믿는 신앙촌에서는 꿈이야기를 잘못하게 되면 마귀로 왕따시키는 경우가 왕왕 있었다.

46People also said that my mother was possessed by an angel 마귀.나의 어머니도 천사마귀가 들렸다고 사람들이 말을 하였다.

47As a result, our family also became 마귀.그래서 우리 가족들도 마귀가 되어버렸다.

48If we went to the well to draw water, people would say a 마귀 had come and would keep their distance.우물가에 물을 뜨러 가면 마귀가 왔다고 멀리 피해버렸다.

49Of course, it was good that we could draw plenty of water because of this, but it made me feel a bit uneasy as a child.물론 그러다 보니 물도 흡족하게 길어올 수 있어서 좋기는 했지만 어린 마음에 좀 마음이 안 좋았다.

50권사 Hong and my mother were close to each other.홍 권사님과 나의 어머니와는 서로 친하셨다.

51When my mother went up to the Oman 제단 early in the morning, 해와이긴자 (권사 Hong Eop-bi) would also have already come up and worshipped in the front row of the 제단.어머니가 아침 일찍 오만제단에 올라가면 해와이긴자(홍업비 권사)도 먼저 올라와서 제단 앞자리에서 예배를 보았다.

52권사 Hong would come up to the 제단 early to worship secretly before the ushers noticed, because they would expel him, calling him a 마귀.홍 권사님은 자신을 마귀라고 끌어내니까 안내원들이 알아차리기 전에 일찍 제단에 올라오셔서 몰래 예배를 보셨던 것이다.

53My mother was also called an angel 마귀, just like him.나의 어머니도 그분과 똑같이 천사마귀라고 불리게 되었다.

54Both of them wore white hanbok.두 분 다 하얀 한복을 입고 다니셨다.

55영모님 called 권사 Hong Eop-bi a 마귀.영모님은 홍업비 권사님을 마귀라고 하셨다.

56When someone nearby told 영모님 that 권사 Hong was called a 마귀, but he didn't look like a 마귀 at all and was a truly devout person, 영모님 said that it was because he was possessed by an angel 마귀.주변 사람이 영모님에게 홍 권사가 마귀라고 하는데 아무리 봐도 마귀 같지 않고 신앙이 참 좋은 분이라고 말하니 영모님께서 그건 천사마귀가 들려서 그렇다고 하셨다.

57So, 권사 Hong was branded as a person possessed by an angel 마귀, a 마귀 nonetheless.그래서 홍 권사님은 마귀는 마귀인데 천사마귀가 들린 사람으로 낙인이 찍히게 되었다.

58While there are all sorts of 마귀 in the world, people made a commotion, calling 권사 Hong an angel 마귀, wondering what on earth an angel 마귀 was.세상에 별 놈의 마귀가 다 있지만 도대체 천사마귀가 뭔지 사람들은 홍 권사님을 천사마귀라고 난리법석을 쳤다.

59Even 권사 Hong's mother said that 마귀 should die, scooped rice from the rice jar in the house and hid it in the attic, and when she went to care for her younger daughter who had given birth, she reportedly did not return for several days.심지어 홍 권사님의 어머니까지도 마귀는 죽어야 한다면서 집안에 있는 쌀독에 쌀을 퍼다가 다락방에 감춰 두었고, 출산한 작은 딸 산후조리를 돌보러 가서는 몇 날이고 오지 않았다고 한다.

60It seems her mother persecuted her a lot, saying that before her daughter began a life of prayer, she helped well with household chores and was dutiful, but now she only prayed.어머니는 자신의 딸이 기도생활을 하기 전에는 집안일을 잘 도와주고, 효도를 다했는데 기도생활만 한다고 핍박을 많이 하셨던 모양이다.

61신앙촌 residents would also come to where 권사 Hong was praying, throw coal briquette ash, saying, "Get out of this sacred 신앙촌 quickly," and expel him from the 제단, preventing him from worshipping.신앙촌 식구들도 홍권사님이 기도하는 곳에 와서는 "신성한 신앙촌에서 빨리 나가라" 고 연탄재를 던지는가 하면 제단에서 예배를 못 보게 쫓아내었다.

62In fact, there was a deep meaning behind 영모님 calling 권사 Hong an angel 마귀.영모님께서 홍 권사님을 천사마귀라고 하신 데에는 사실 깊은 뜻이 있었다.

63Many devout people, as they ascended endlessly, almost all stumbled, caught by the pride 마귀.신앙이 좋은 사람들이 한없이 올라가다가 거의 다 자존심 마귀에 걸려서 넘어졌다.

64영모님 was secretly putting his branch, whom he was raising as a candidate for 해와이긴자, through 연단 so that he would not fall, caught by the pride 마귀.영모님은 해와이긴자 후보자로 키우는 자신의 가지가 자존심 마귀에 걸려 떨어지지 않도록 누구도 모르게 연단을 시킨 것이었다.

65Even though the 신앙촌 residents pointed fingers at 권사 Hong, calling him an angel 마귀, persecuted him, and even prevented him from eating, causing him to starve, he did not stop his heart towards 하나님 amidst such trials and persecutions, but continued to long for and pray, and ultimately overcame everything.홍 권사님은 신앙촌 사람들이 천사마귀라고 손가락질을 하고, 핍박을 주고, 심지어 밥을 못 먹게 해서 굶을지라도, 그러한 시험과 핍박 속에서 하나님을 향한 마음을 멈추지 않고 계속 사모하며 기도하여 결국 다 이겨내셨다.

66And then he became 해와이긴자.그리고는 해와이긴자가 되신 것이다.

67Then 영모님 appeared and said, "Now it is all over. If you go down there, there's a rice shop; go there, get some rice, and cook a meal," and he reportedly obeyed that word and cooked a meal.그러자 영모님이 나타나셔서 "이제는 다 끝났다. 저 아래에 가면 쌀집이 있는데 그곳에 가서 쌀을 갖다가 밥을 해먹어라" 라고 하여 그 말씀대로 순종하여 밥을 해먹었다고 한다.

68After becoming 해와이긴자, he received 영모님's command in a dream to go to the 밀실, where he would find a bearded man, and to raise that man as an 이긴자. When he went to the 밀실, the bearded man was living with his mother.해와이긴자가 되신 후 밀실에 가면 털보가 있을 테니 그 사람을 이긴자로 키우라는 꿈속에서 영모님의 명령을 받고 밀실에 가니 털보가 자신의 어머니와 같이 살고 있었다.

69That bearded man was Deacon Jeon Bong-guk, who had made his dwelling in a place someone had used as a chicken coop and then abandoned, and was living by going out to Sosa to beg for food.그 털보는 전봉국 집사로 누가 닭장으로 쓰다 버린 곳을 거처 삼아 소사에 나가서 밥을 빌어다 먹고 살고 있었다.

70To avoid the rain and snow, 해와이긴자 lived a life of prayer under a rock and began to raise Deacon Jeon Bong-guk and his mother as 이긴자.해와이긴자는 눈비를 피하기 위하여 바위 밑에서 기도생활하며 전봉국 집사와 그 어머니를 이긴자로 키우기 시작하였다.

71However, Deacon Jeon Bong-guk and his mother would overcome well, then lose, and fall again, so they could not mature as 이긴자.그러나 전봉국 집사와 어머니는 잘 이겨나가다가 지고, 또 넘어지고 하여 이긴자로 장성하지는 못했다.

72해와이긴자's life of prayer in that 밀실, which was no different from a wasteland, was truly a continuous series of hardships.해와이긴자가 황무지와 다름없는 그곳 밀실에서 기도생활 하는 것은 그야말로 고난의 연속이었다.

73When there was a famine, it was even difficult to live by begging for alms, so he lived a life of prayer, crying out and wailing to 하나님, exhausted from hunger.흉년이 들면 동냥을 받아 빌어먹고 살기도 힘들어 굶주림에 지쳐서 하나님께 울며불며 통곡하는 기도생활을 하셨던 것이다.

74One day, 해와이긴자, who was raising 이긴자 in the 밀실 in this way, happened to visit our house.이렇게 밀실에서 이긴자를 키워 나가던 해와이긴자가 하루는 우리 집에 들르게 되었다.

75하나님 commanded him to bring my mother to the 밀실, and when 해와이긴자 replied that he didn't know the house, 하나님 told him to just follow where He led, and reportedly guided him all the way to our doorstep.하나님께서 어머니를 밀실로 데려오라고 명령하시는데 해와이긴자가 집을 모른다고 대답하니 하나님께서 당신이 인도하는 대로 따라가면 된다고 하여 집앞까지 인도해 주셨다고 한다.

76As 해와이긴자 arrived at our doorstep, my mother happened to open the door and look outside, and the two reportedly met naturally.집앞에 해와이긴자가 당도하자 마침 어머니께서는 문을 열고 밖을 보셨고, 두 분이 자연히 만나게 되었다고 한다.

77My mother followed 해와이긴자 and went straight into the 밀실, and after entering, she reportedly completely forgot about what would happen to the house and only lived a life of prayer as 해와이긴자 guided her.어머니는 해와이긴자를 따라 그 길로 밀실로 들어가셨고, 들어가신 후에는 집이야 어떻게 되든 말든 전혀 잊어버리고 오직 해와이긴자가 인도하는 대로 기도생활을 하셨다고 한다.

78The 밀실, which had been like a wasteland, came to have the form of a dwelling because 영모님, when a fire broke out in Jayu Market, instructed them to take the partially burned timber and build a house in the 밀실.황무지와 같던 밀실이 그런대로 가옥의 형태를 갖게 된 것은 자유시장에 불이 났을 때 영모님께서 불타다 만 목재를 가져다가 밀실에 집을 지어 주라고 하신 것에 의한 것이었다.

79At that time, the 밀실 acquired facilities to avoid rain and snow for the first time, and a space for a life of prayer was provided in its own way.그때 밀실은 눈비를 면할 수 있는 시설을 처음으로 갖게 되었고, 나름대로 기도생활을 할 수 있는 공간이 마련되었던 것이다.

80I only heard the story that my mother had gone to the 밀실 following 해와이긴자, but after several days, my mother didn't return, so I went to search for the 밀실, and there I met 해와이긴자 for the first time.나는 어머니가 해와이긴자를 따라 밀실로 가셨다는 이야기만 들었는데 며칠이 지나도록 어머니가 안 오시기에 밀실을 찾아서 가게 되었고, 밀실에서 해와이긴자를 처음 만나 뵙게 되었다.

81When I first saw 해와이긴자, his eyes were so clear and pure, eyes that could not be seen in this world.해와이긴자를 처음 뵈올 때 그분의 눈이 어쩜 그렇게 맑고 깨끗한지 세상에서는 볼 수 없는 그런 눈을 가지고 계셨다.

82Of course, from the moment I met him, the grace of fragrance I had received from 영모님 came, so I knew that this person was one who had received grace from 영모님, and I also entered the 밀실, following my mother.물론 만나는 순간부터 영모님으로부터 받았던 향취 은혜가 오기에 이 분이 영모님으로부터 은혜를 받은 분이라는 것을 알게 되었고, 어머니를 따라 나도 밀실에 들어가게 되었다.

83해와이긴자 told me to abandon everything and come into the 밀실, and when I asked how I would manage since I was currently making a living by embroidering with a sewing machine, he said that I had to bring even that sewing machine into the 밀실.해와 이긴자는 나에게 모든 것을 다 버리고 밀실로 들어오라고 하셨고, 지금 미싱을 가지고 수를 놓아서 먹고 사는데 어떻게 하느냐고 하였더니 그 미싱까지 다 가지고 밀실에 들어와야 된다는 것이었다.

84Upon entering the 밀실, 해와이긴자 told me to do nothing else but pray.밀실에 들어오자 해와 이긴자는 다른 것 하지 말고 기도만 하라고 하였다.

85So, I only prayed from morning until evening.그래서 아침부터 저녁까지 기도만 하였다.

86I prayed by attaching the name of 마귀 to whatever thoughts came to mind.자신의 생각이 돌아가는 것에다가 마귀의 이름을 붙여서 기도를 했다.

87I prayed, pouring myself into endless non-resistance, saying, "Non-resistance to the lustful 마귀, non-resistance to the hateful murderous 마귀, non-resistance to the lustful 마귀 of attention."음란마귀 무저항, 미워하는 살인마귀 무저항, 관심의 음란마귀 무저항이라고 하여 한도 끝도 없는 무저항에 쓸어 넣는 기도를 하였다.

88In particular, I prayed a great deal of unrestrained non-resistance to the 마귀 prayers.특히 진탕만탕 마귀 무저항 기도를 많이 하였다.

89Other family members also prayed this prayer a lot.다른 식구들도 이 기도를 많이 했다.

90I prayed in a very loud voice, and the power of the 마귀 came so strongly that when it arrived, it felt as if something heavy had been placed on my head, and after a few hours in that state, I felt as though I would soon die.기도는 아주 큰 소리로 했는데 마귀의 세력이 어떻게 강하게 오는지 그 세력이 오면 머리에 무거운 것을 씌워놓은 것 같았고, 그러한 상태가 몇 시간이 지나면 곧 죽을 것 같이 느껴졌다.

91So, with all my might, I prayed in a loud voice.그래서 죽을힘을 다해 큰 소리로 기도를 하였다.

92I prayed so much that my tongue felt like it had a hole, and it cracked and bled.얼마나 기도를 많이 했는지 혀가 빵꾸가 날 정도였고, 갈라터져서 피가 나고 그랬다.

93When I entered the 밀실, there were many students.내가 밀실에 들어가니까 학생들이 많았다.

94해와이긴자 made them pray as well.해와이긴자는 그들에게도 기도를 하라고 시켰다.

95Then, saying that the students were succumbing to weak lustful 마귀, 해와이긴자 made them walk around the cemetery to instill courage in them.그러다가 학생들이 약한 음란마귀에 진다고 하여 담대한 마음을 갖게 하려고 공동묘지를 돌게 하였다.

96There was a cemetery around the 밀실.밀실 주변에 공동묘지가 있었다.

97Telling them to be courageous, 해와이긴자 instructed them to walk around the cemetery once and return, so several people walked around the cemetery together.담대한 마음을 가지라고 공동묘지를 한 바퀴 둘러서 오라고 하여 여러 명이 같이 공동묘지를 돌았다.

98At that time, there were often people who cried out of fear.그때 무서워서 울고 그런 사람들이 종종 있었다.

99Then, 해와이긴자 would single out that person and scold them, and then make them do something even scarier.그러면 해와이긴자는 그 사람을 콕 찍어서 야단을 치셨다, 그리고는 더욱 무서운 것을 행하게 하였다.

100해와이긴자 did not give food to those who did not obey the word.해와이긴자는 말씀에 순종하지 않는 사람들에게는 밥을 주지 않았다.

101Consequently, many students left.그러다보니 학생들이 많이 떨어져 나갔다.

102One day, 해와이긴자 took a banana out of the fridge and gave it to me, but the banana was old and had turned black.해와이긴자가 하루는 냉장고에서 바나나를 꺼내서 주는데 바나나가 오래 되어서 시커멓게 되었다.

103So, the moment I thought to myself, "How am I supposed to eat this?", I was suddenly hit repeatedly.그래서 속으로 이걸 어떻게 먹으라고 그러나 하고 생각하는 순간 갑자기 막 때리는 것이었다.

104As I wondered why I was being hit, 해와이긴자 said, "Didn't you think, at the moment I gave you the banana, 'How can she give me something that's turned black?'" At that moment, I realised, "Ah, I did think that," to the extent that I reflected on my own thoughts and understood.왜 때리시나 하고 생각하자, "네가 바나나를 주는 순간 시커멓게 된 것을 어떻게 주느냐고 생각하지 않았느냐" 고 하셔서 그 순간 아차 내가 그랬지라고 내 생각을 돌이켜 알게 될 정도였다.

105In this way, 해와이긴자 instantly perceived all of people's inner thoughts.해와이긴자는 이처럼 사람들의 돌아가는 생각을 즉각 즉각 다 알아채셨다.

106해와이긴자 made me marry Deacon Jeon Bong-guk, saying that the reason was that since my mother was getting old, if there was even a grandchild, she would continue to stay in the 밀실, and that was why they were married.해와이긴자는 나하고 전봉국 집사와 결혼을 시켰는데 그 이유는 우리 어머니가 연로하게 되시니까 손자라도 있으면 밀실에서 계속 있지 않겠느냐 하여 그래서 결혼시킨 것이라고 하셨다.

107Because 해와이긴자's word is law, one must do as commanded; otherwise, one falls into disobedience.해와이긴자의 말씀이 법이므로 시키면 시키는 대로 해야지 그렇지 않으면 불순종에 떨어지게 된다.

108If one committed a sin, 해와이긴자 would mercilessly beat them indiscriminately with objects nearby.해와이긴자는 죄를 지으면 사정없이 주변에 있는 물건으로 마구 때렸다.

109If a washboard was seen, 해와이긴자 would pick it up and hit with it; if a poker was seen, with a poker; if a club was seen, with a club.빨래판이 보이면 그걸 집어서 때리고, 부지갱이가 보이면 부지갱이로, 몽둥이가 보이면 몽둥이로 때렸다.

110If hit with those, it hurt, but no harm came of it at all.그걸로 맞으면 아프기는 한데 전혀 탈이 나지는 않았다.

111Even if stabbed repeatedly with a pointed umbrella, it only hurt at that moment, and no harm came of it.뽀족한 우산으로 죽으라고 찔러도 그때만 아팠지 탈이 나지 않았다.

112So, if one was hit, one could know that 해와이긴자 was a person who served 하나님's spirit.그래서 맞아보면 해와이긴자가 하나님의 신을 모신 분이라는 것을 알 수 있었다.

113After being hit by 해와이긴자, one's body felt lighter.해와이긴자에게 맞고 나면 몸이 가벼워지는 것이었다.

114That was because 해와이긴자 killed the 마귀 for them.그것은 해와이긴자가 마귀를 죽여주시기 때문이었다.

115So, sometimes there were even times when I wished to be hit.그래서 심지어는 때려주셨으면 하고 바랄 때도 있었다.

116해와이긴자 was a person with a very clean and tidy personality, so if there was an uncleaned place, chaos erupted.해와이긴자는 성격이 매우 깨끗하고 깔끔하신 분이셨다, 그래서 청소가 안 된 곳이 있으면 난리가 났다.

117When told to weed, if one passed over without pulling out weeds, 해와이긴자 knew it all.김을 매라고 해서 김을 맬 때, 잡초를 뽑지 않고 넘어가면 그걸 다 아셨다.

118And then, 해와이긴자 imprinted it clearly in their mind and remembered it.그러고는 그걸 마음속에 탁 찍어서 기억하고 계셨다.

119Even inside the 밀실, cleaning was done thoroughly, but if one passed by and there was a fallen leaf and they didn't pick it up, 해와이긴자 would point it out and speak, somehow knowing it.밀실 안에서도 청소를 깨끗이 했는데 만일 지나가다가 낙엽이 떨어진 것이 있어서 안 줍고 지나가면 그걸 어떻게 아셨는지 지적하여 말씀하셨다.

120If a few such mistakes accumulated, when 해와이긴자 found something wrong, 해와이긴자 would point it out, tell me in detail what I had done wrong and sinned, and beat me with a stick.이렇게 몇 가지 잘못한 것이 쌓이게 되면 해와이긴자가 한번 잘못한 것이 있을 때 그걸 지적하면서 내가 잘못 하고 죄를 지은 것을 낱낱이 알려주시면서 매로 때리셨다.

121I too was beaten fiercely with a washboard and fell down, but when I got up and looked in the mirror, wondering if I might have a bruise, there wasn't even a bruise.나도 빨래판으로 죽어라 맞고 쓰러졌는데 일어나서 혹시 멍이 들었지 않을까 해서 거울을 쳐다보면 멍조차 들지 않았다.

122And it only hurt when I was being hit; afterwards, it didn't hurt at all.그리고 맞을 때뿐이지 그 다음에는 전혀 아프지 않았다.

123The 밀실 family members were beaten so much, but I have never seen a single person who was harmed.밀실 식구들이 그렇게 많이 매를 맞았는데 탈이 난 사람을 한 명도 본 적이 없다.

124This is how one can know that 해와이긴자 was a person who received 하나님's grace.하나님의 은혜를 받은 분이라는 것을 이래서 알 수 있는 것이다.

125I was once driven out of the 밀실 by 해와이긴자.​나는 해와이긴자로부터 밀실에서 쫓겨난 적이 있다.

126해와이긴자 said, "You wench, get out!", so I left the 밀실, but in the evening when 해와이긴자 had fallen asleep, I secretly went into the room and was sleeping. Then a person came and said that 해와 주님 told me to leave the 밀실, so I left the 밀실 immediately."이년아, 나가라!"고 해서 밀실을 나왔는데 해와이긴자가 잠드신 저녁때에 몰래 방에 들어가서 자고 있으니까 한 사람이 와서는 해와 주님이 밀실에서 나가라고 하신다고 하셔서 그 길로 밀실을 나왔다.

127Having no money, I walked to my elder brother's house in Bupyeong and slept there for a day. The next morning, around the time 해와이긴자 would come out of the 밀실, I went to see him, apologised, and begged for forgiveness.돈도 없고 해서 걸어서 부평에 있는 오빠 집에 가서 하루 자고, 그 다음 날 아침에 해와이긴자가 밀실에 나오실 때쯤 찾아가서 잘못했다고 용서를 빌었다.

128해와이긴자 said, "Your repentance is not yet complete, no!"해와이긴자는 "넌 아직 회개가 덜 되었어, 안돼!" 라고 하셨다.

129So the next day too, around the same time, I met 해와이긴자 and said, "I was wrong," but 해와이긴자 again said my repentance was not complete and it was not allowed.그래서 그 다음날도 그맘때쯤 해와이긴자를 뵙고 "잘못했습니다." 라고 말씀을 드렸더니 또 회개가 덜 되었다고 안 된다고 하셨다.

130So it was the third day, and that day I thought, "If I tell 해와이긴자 today that I was wrong and don't receive forgiveness, I'll just go out into the world."그래서 셋째 날이 되었는데 그 날은 오늘 해와이긴자께 잘못했다고 말씀드려서 용서를 못 받으면 그냥 세상으로 나가자라는 생각이 들었다.

131So I met 해와이긴자 and said, "Please forgive me," and 해와이긴자 smiled and told me to come in.그래서 해와이긴자를 뵙고 "용서해주세요." 했더니 웃으면서 들어가라고 하셨다.

132해와이긴자 knew all my heart and accepted me back into the 밀실 because it seemed I would go out into the world.해와이긴자는 내 마음을 다 알고 세상으로 나갈 것 같으니까 밀실로 받아주신 것이었다.

133For the family members who practised their faith in the 밀실, believing that this path alone was the way to 영생, they did not think of leaving even if they were beaten in the 밀실.밀실에서 신앙을 하는 식구들에게는 이 길만이 영생하는 길이라고 믿고 있어서 밀실에서 매를 때려도 나갈 생각을 하지 않았다.

134One day, before 조희성 주님 became the 완성자, I once saw him being called by 해와이긴자 and entering the room.하루는 조희성 주님이 완성자가 되시기 전에 해와이긴자에게 불려서 방으로 들어가는 것을 본 적이 있다.

135But 주님 acted so discreetly and respectfully towards 해와이긴자, to the extent that he appeared to be trembling.그런데 주님은 해와이긴자께 그렇게 조신하게 행동하셨다, 벌벌 떠는 모습으로 보일 정도였다.

136Other people, when entering 해와이긴자's room, were afraid of being beaten, but they were not particularly cautious.다른 사람들은 해와이긴자 방에 들어갈 때 매 맞을까 두려워는 했지만 그다지 조심하지는 않았다.

137But 주님 acted very discreetly and respectfully, and when 해와이긴자 spoke, he bowed his head and always moved like a sinner.그런데 주님은 매우 조신하게 행동하셨으며, 해와이긴자께서 말씀하실 때에는 머리를 조아리고 항상 죄인처럼 움직이셨다.

138After 주님 became the 완성자, when he went out to Yeokgok to evangelise, none of the 밀실 family members at that time knew that fact.주님이 완성자가 되신 후 역곡에 나가서 전도하실 때 당시 밀실 식구들은 아무도 그 사실을 몰랐다.

139I didn't know at all, but if 주님 made a mistake, 해와이긴자 would indiscriminately beat 권사 Kim Ok-ja and the people connected to 주님.나도 전혀 몰랐는데 해와이긴자는 주님이 잘못한 게 있으면 김옥자 권사 및 주님과 연결된 사람들을 막 때렸다.

140Because those connected together are one, even if one person made a mistake, it became a sin for everyone, and that is why 해와이긴자 scolded them.같이 연결된 사람은 하나이므로 한 사람이 잘못해도 다 같이 죄가 되기 때문에 혼을 내셨던 것이다.

141On the day 주님 became the 이긴자, 해와이긴자 told everyone to gather and then placed two chairs.주님이 이긴자가 되신 날 해와이긴자는 모두 모이라고 하시더니 의자를 두 개를 놓았다.

142해와이긴자 sat on one, and made 주님 sit on the other.하나는 자신이 앉고, 다른 하나는 주님을 앉히셨다.

143And then 해와이긴자 said, "You have become the 이긴자!"그리고는 "네가 이긴자가 되었다!" 고 하셨던 것이다.

144Saying he had become the 이긴자, they also took a photo together.이긴자가 되었다고 사진도 같이 찍었다.

145해와이긴자 took many photos, but as for 해와이긴자's own photos, 해와이긴자 never showed them and did not allow anyone to possess them.해와이긴자는 사진을 많이 찍었지만 정작 자신의 사진은 절대 보여주지도 않으셨고, 갖고 있지도 못 하도록 하셨다.

146Life in the 밀실 was impoverished, but the Seoul family members gave a lot of 헌금, and the rest of the people diligently engaged in prayer life.밀실 생활은 궁핍한 생활이었지만 서울 식구들이 헌금을 많이 냈고, 나머지 사람은 열심히 기도생활을 했다.

147The Seoul family members were a person named Elder Hong and 해와이긴자's relatives; that is how the 밀실 was operated.서울식구들이란 홍 장로라는 사람과 해와이긴자의 친척들이었다, 그렇게 밀실은 운영되었다.

148While 조희성 구세주님 was establishing 승리제단 in Yeokgok and carrying out the work of human salvation, he evangelised the 밀실 family members and made them come to 승리제단. I too, after coming to the 제단 at that time, have remained until now.조희성 구세주님께서 역곡에 승리제단을 세워 인류 구원 사업을 해나가시던 중 밀실 식구들들을 전도하여 승리제단으로 나오게 하셨고, 나도 그때 제단에 나온 후 지금까지 이르게 되었다.

149Because the illuminating 구세주님 is not human but divine, I believe that someday all humanity worldwide will receive salvation.보광하신 구세주님은 사람이 아닌 신이므로 언젠가 전 세계 인류가 모두 다 구원을 받게 될 것이라 믿고 있다.

150Until then, I pledge and re-pledge that I must go this path, staking my life.그때까지 생명을 걸고 이 길을 가야겠다고 다짐하고 또 다짐한다.
