역곡승지

In the writings of 토정 이지함 선생, it is written, "人衆之地 驛谷勝地(인중지지역곡승지)." This means, '역곡, where many people gather, is the place where 정도령 (Savior = Living Maitreya Buddha) resides, and it is the land of victory.'

To paraphrase, it means that the Savior 정도령 is in 역곡.

The name 역곡 itself was created only a few decades ago, and as 정도령's 승리제단 (Victory Altar) is currently performing its work in 역곡, it is indeed a remarkable foresight.
