십승지
십승지(十勝地) is a concept that appears in prophetic books such as 『격암유록』, meaning 'ten victorious lands'.
Generally, it is known to refer to ten specific geographically safe places (e.g., 공주, 김제, etc.) where one can avoid calamities such as war, epidemics, and natural disasters.
However, according to another interpretation, '십(十)' (ten) symbolizes 하나님, who signifies completeness; '승(勝)' (victory) symbolizes triumph; and '지(地)' (land) goes beyond symbolizing a place to symbolize '사람(主)' (person/master). This is interpreted as a prophetic code meaning that one can only avoid calamities by finding a specific person (savior) called "이긴 자" (the victor) or "정도령(正道令)". In other words, it is not merely a physical refuge, but an interpretation that it contains a symbolic meaning representing a savior.
