Spirit of the Dead and the Afterlife

1The religions of this world say that when a person dies, their soul departs to the world of the afterlife.이 세상 종교는 사람이 죽으면 영혼이 내세의 세계로 떠나간다고 말하고 있습니다.

2This is an extremely ignorant statement regarding the Bible.이것은 성경에 대해서 너무 무식한 말입니다.

3Job 14:10, 14, "When a person dies, they perish; when their breath is gone, where are they?"욥기서 14장 10절 14절, "사람이 죽으면 소멸되나니 기운이 끊어진즉 그가 어디에 있느냐."

4"When a person dies, they shall not live again." Such a word is recorded, isn't it?"사람이 죽으면 다시는 살지 못하리라." 그런 말씀이 기록되어 있지요?

5The statement that a person perishes when they die – does that mean only the body perishes, and the soul does not, right?사람이 죽으면 소멸된다는 것은 영혼은 소멸 안 되고 몸만 소멸된다는 말이지요?

6It means that both, both must perish for it to be called perishing, right?둘 다, 둘 다 소멸되어야 소멸된다고 말하는 거지요?

7So, not knowing the true nature of the soul, people today say that the soul ascends to heaven.그래서 영혼의 실체를 몰라서 들 오늘날 영혼이 하늘로 올라간다고 말하고 있습니다.

8Why is that? When a shaman performs '자리걷이' or '푸닥거리', the shaman speaks on behalf of the dead person who has entered and is speaking, right?왜 그렇느냐 하면, 무당이 '자리걷이'한다든지, '푸닥거리'한다든지 할 때에, 죽은 사람이 들어와서 말하는 것을 무당이 대신 말을 하지요?

9Therefore, they believe that the soul of the dead person has departed.그렇기 때문에 죽은 사람의 영혼이 떠나간다고 믿고 있습니다.

10Everyone, the soul of a dead person is the blood of the dead person.여러분들, 죽은 사람의 영혼은 죽은 사람의 피입니다.

11The blood of the dead person is within the living person.죽은 사람의 피가 산 사람 속에 있습니다.

12So, now, the reason the shaman allows the spirit of the dead person to enter and speak is that what enables the spirit of the dead person to enter is the family of the dead person who presides over the 굿, right?그래서 바로, 그 무당이 죽은 사람의 영이 들어와서 말하게 하는 것은, 그 죽은 사람의 영이 들어올 수 있게 되는 것이, 그 굿을 주관하는 사람이 죽은 사람의 가족이지요?

13Within the family of that dead person is the blood of the dead person.그 죽은 사람의 가족 속에 죽은 사람의 피가 있는 것입니다.

14So, the spirit of the dead person that was in the blood of that dead person enters the shaman.그래서 죽은 사람의 그 핏속에 있었던 죽은 사람의 영이 무당 속에 들어가는 것입니다.

15So, the shaman speaks the words of the dead person, also speaks the dead person's temperament, and speaks what the dead person used to say, what they said when they were alive.그래서 무당이 죽은 사람의 말을 하게 되고, 죽은 사람의 성질도 말하고, 죽은 사람의 평소에 말하던 것을, 살았을 때 말하던 것을 말하게 되어 있는 것입니다.

16So, the spirit of the dead person does not ascend to heaven; because the spirit of the dead person is the blood of the dead person, the blood of the dead person is within their children or their family.그래서 죽은 사람의 영이 하늘로 올라가는 게 아니고, 죽은 사람의 영은 죽은 사람의 피인 고로, 죽은 사람의 피는 그 자식 속에나 그 가족 속에 있는 것입니다.

17Therefore, if the spirit of the dead person within the family dies, for now, it becomes a 마귀's spirit.그렇기 때문에 가족 속에 있는 죽은 사람의 영이 일단은 죽으면 마귀의 영이 되어 버립니다.

18So, shamans have bodies that receive the 마귀's spirit, bodies that easily receive the 마귀's spirit.그래서 무당은 마귀의 영을 받는, 마귀의 영을 쉽게 받는 그러한 몸을 가지고 있습니다.

19So, the spirit of the dead person enters and imitates the dead person completely.그래서 죽은 사람의 영이 들어와서 죽은 사람의 흉내를 다 내는 것입니다.

20People are deceived by that and are made to believe 100% that the spirit of the dead person has entered and is speaking.거기에 사람들은 속아서 죽은 사람의 영이 들어와서 말한다는 것을 100%로 믿게 하는 것입니다.

21So, people perform ancestral rites on days like the dead person's death anniversary or birthday.그래서 사람들이 제사를 지내는데, 죽은 사람의 죽은 날이라든지 죽은 사람의 생일이라든지 이런 날 제사를 지냅니다.

22However, when performing ancestral rites, there is no case where the person performing the rite receives the spirit of the dead person.그러나 제사 지낼 때 제사 지내는 사람이 죽은 사람의 영을 받는 경우는 없습니다.

23The reason is that because the spirit of the dead person perishes, even if the spirit of the dead person is within their children or family, it cannot exert influence on the mental world of an ordinary person because, once the spirit of the dead person becomes the life of the dead person and the blood of the dead person, it cannot approach the consciousness of a living person.왜 그렇냐면 죽은 사람의 영은 소멸되기 때문에, 죽은 사람의 영이 자식이나 가족 속에 있다고 하더라도, 일반적인 사람의 정신세계에 영향력을 행사할 수 없는 것은, 일단 죽은 사람의 영은 죽은 사람의 생명이요, 죽은 사람의 피가 되어서 산 사람의 의식에 근접할 수 없기 때문입니다.

24But, the reason that the spirit of the dead person can enter a shaman and act in that way is because shamans have bodies that summon ghosts.그런데, 무당한테는 그 죽은 사람의 영이 들어가서 그와 같이 작용을 할 수 있는 것은 무당은 귀신을 불러들이는 몸을 가지고 있기 때문입니다.

25The spirit of the dead person that has become a 마귀 enters the shaman, brings down a pole, dances on a blade, and also says things that come true about what will happen in the future.마귀가 된 죽은 사람의 영이 무당한테 들어가서 대도 내리고 작두 위에서 춤을 추기도 하고, 무당들이 앞으로 어떻게 어떻게 될 것이라 하는 것도 맞는 얘기도 합니다.

26The reason is because the spirit of the dead person enters and speaks.왜 그러냐 하면 죽은 사람의 영이 들어가서 말하기 때문입니다.

27So, because the spirit of the dead person is within living people, all of you also have the spirit of the dead person in your blood.그래서 죽은 사람의 영이라는 것은 산 사람 속에 있기 때문에 여러분들도 다 핏속에 죽은 사람의 영이 있는 것입니다.

28So, everyone, you often hear phrases like "You resemble your mother," "You resemble your father," right?그래서 여러분들, "엄마를 닮았다", "아버지를 닮았다", 그런 말 많이 듣지요?

29The reason you often hear such words is because the parents' blood is within the child, people say they resemble them.그런 말 많이 듣는 것은 그 부모의 피가 그 자식 속에 들어 있기 때문에 닮았다고 말하는 것입니다.

30And also, the mind and temperament are identical.그리고 또, 마음과 성질이 똑같습니다.

31They are identical, exactly resembling the dead person's mind and usual temperament.죽은 사람의 마음과 죽은 사람의 평소의 성질을 그대로 닮아서 똑같습니다.
